Well I got some dirt to put on Jak so I draw and Ookazi Jak.
Then I summon Shura with 1800 ATK. I attack Jak's facedown. Any counters?

My monster is Dark Resonator! 300 Defense
His effect activates! Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle, it isn't destroyed (Damage Calculation is applied normally)

Now.... I'll flip up my other monster to reveal Barrier Statue of the Inferno in atk mode. 1000/1000
He makes it so only Fire Attributed monsters can be special summoned.
Now, I'll activate my facedown Backfire. This makes it so everytime a fire attributed monster is destroyed, the destroyer would take 500 LP of damage.
Sacred Phoenix attack Shura and Barrier Statue attack Jak!
