Zane's Betrayal Tested

Apollo smiled in the darkness of the shade of a tree. He had sent Zane Truesdale, an old dragon lord a challenge that he couldn't refuse. It said that if Apollo lost, he would get rid of the dragon lords and join the Royal knights. He waited with his duel disk out for him to come and face the wrath of Armageddon. He was in an area not far away from where Roy and Jasmine had dueled but he was closer to the dragon lords's sanctum. Apollo heard footsteps and looked back.

Once again, she was summoned to that rock. The cursed rock where she has gained her first loss in a duel, which she heavily regretted and completely ignored ever since, knowing losing to a god is kind of obvious. Why would she guess it was a god? Easy: no one can survive that fall, even if they were a Dark Signer. She went up on the cliff further until she reached the same area where she dueled Apollo Gremnier when he demanded his soul back.

Looking into his eyes, she drew out something from her pocket and threw it to the ground. It was a small bag. When she kicked it's right side, it exploded and out of pink smoke, a table appeared, with more than enough seats for both of those persons. "This won't take long. But I would be more satisfied if we talk this over." She said as she awaited to Apollo's response.

"It looks like you're messing with my plans yet again Noelecio Rizzo....and no, there will be just dueling here and.... you might turn out useful for Lord Armageddon." Apollo replied with a voice resonating with his own. Like before, he wasn't the Apollo he used to be. He wore a giant creepy smile as he pulled out his duel disk.

As soon as Apollo replied with the phrase 'Lord Armageddon', it was obvious to Noel this wasn't the same friend she used to know. The process of the god taking control over Apollo's body was already in around sixty percent if it has already passed the half, and yet - in only a few days of surviving. Noelecio thought quickly of a great idea, to refuse Apollo's offer for a duel, but in her own, different way. One that this Apollo has long forgotten. One that most kids do when they actually want to duel.

Noel in response, took out her own duel disk, but then she committed a strange deed. First of all, she set down on the table's chair, which was connected. It was near the evening, and the weather was perfect. Strong winds blowing upon the two, coming from the east. She set near the table and then did the thing no one would have though she'll do in this state: she took out of her duel disk her deck and started shuffling it, handily. "I see. So we can't talk this over? Then at the very least, respect my requests as I respect yours. We will be dueling, but you probably know what I mean by this. Now throw your duel disk out of it." She said as she placed her deck on the table.

In a very long time, Noel offered a duel on a table without using the holograms.

Apollo smirked and sat down. He looked at Noel and said, "I'll only duel like this on one condition.... if you lose, you free Zane and heal him..."
He pulled out his deck and started to shuffle it.
"So is it a deal?" He asked with the same dark voice resonating with it.

Noel shivered. It was obvious to someone like Apollo, who's soul was already stolen and bought back, that Noel did something to Zane that concerns his soul. But that wasn't just as a threat, but also a part of her plan. In fact, she never really needed his soul anymore, nor did she need Apollo's after Armageddon took it away. She started laughing out of excitement. "Hmph. Nothing can escape your ways, huh? The thing with this duel is that there will be no loss. Just a friendly practice game, to show the tables, if you know what I mean. But fine."

A mark appeared on Noelecio's left arm, as her eyes appeared darker, her skin going brighter. A purple X mark appeared from her eyes, crossing her face. "But fine, have it your way. I lose, Zane is free. You lose, your actions are frozen for three full days, you got that!!?" Noelecio glared into Apollo's eyes with that glare again. It was that power inside of her. Although this was only a board game, she had to show off her own skills in threat. And so, the duel began, and ended in an instant.

"I go first! . . . Hehe. Last warning Apollo. Give up before you lose... You know what, nevermind. I'll just end this in hopes I get the right card now. You'd never bother to show mercy on us, why should we show it to you!?
I play, Pot of Greed! And I draw two cards... And activate Graceful Charity. I draw three cards and throw two to the graveyard.
Now, it's the end. I activate, Meteor Of Destruction, to decrease your life points by 1,000, since you're on 4,000.
Now, another spell card, Tremendous Fire!! With this card, your life points take another 1,000 hit, but I take 500 damage.
I'm not even nearly done. I activate, Ookazi, to decrease your life points by 800. And now, Final Flame, to decrease your life points by 600. Would you guess what my last card is?"

She asked as it was still the very first turn, and Apollo was already in a menace without any capability of doing anything - with 600 Life Points.

Apollo's mouth was open in amazement.
"That's impossble.... you must have cheated." He falsely accused.
He clenched the table harder as if he wanted to break it.
"F-f-fine. I'll let you do that." He said.

My ability:Only can be special summoned when you are down to 1000 lp or less. This card gains 4000 lp when special summoned. When a FKD is performed you can negate all of the effects and gain back your lp.

"You're no fun. You could have guessed. I'll just tell you, this is the luckiest draw I've ever had.
I activate the last card, Final Flame! Your Life Points have dropped to exactly 0, in case you're using that out of play card again."

Noelecio packed her cards and inserted her deck into her duel disk again, after finishing Apollo off in one single turn. Even she was amazed by that lucky draw just now. "It didn't even worth it. But I'll make a deal with you. I will bring back Zane and have his body functioning again. He will wake up in 23 hours from now, after the spell is broken. In exchange, you must freeze your actions completely to a whole week, and that doesn't mean only you... but also every other Dragon Lord there is. If Armageddon comes out, he must be stopped until next week, got that?" Noel returned to herself not so long after she started out to say her offer.

She never bothered to look at Apollo. The wind must have triggered the button already and the table reverted back to a bag, judging by the somehow cute sound of explosion that's heard everytime the bag reverts. She picked it up without looking at Apollo, and threw towards him a certain card, that Zane was holding. It was his dragon. "Don't lose that, at any cost." She said.

[Admin]

A dark aura took over Apollo and he replied, "Fine. I, Armageddon will stop controlling these shells for a week."
Apollo lost all marks on his face and fell down to the ground unconcious.

Noel waited for a small period of time. She then drew out her phone and dialed. "... Hello. I'd like to report of two boys found laying on the mountain of Kusakabe, on the highest one. Yeah, I can pay... Just get over here, there are lives to be saved." She said, and hung up.

Apollo and Zane were found and were transported back to Neo Domino City not so long after. It would have only took them a small while to wake up. As for Noel, what she had in mind was to stall Armageddon as long as she possibly can, and that method with the board won't work again. At least - she got one week to gather enough force to stop Armageddon from devouring Apollo... Or anyone else.
