Redemption (Apollo vs Noel)

With this Quick-Play Spell card, I can destroy your Call of the Haunted in a chain reaction before it's triggered.

I play the Spell card, Dark Hole. With this spell, all monsters on the field are completely destroyed, but I'm not nearly done. I summon Harpie Lady 1 in attack position, and her effect activates. All WIND-type monsters' attack and defense are increased by 300. I'd like to say she won't be sticking for long, but I don't have much choice. If I activate Elegant Egoist now, I'll be in trouble...

I activate Spell card, Change of Heart. With this card, I can take control over one of your monsters and add them to my side of the field for the rest of the turn. I choose... Your Medium, of course.
The last card I had in my hand was not Elegant Egoist, by the way, but close enough. I summon, Harpie Lady in attack position.

Noelecio looked at the scarred soul of Apollo, as his face already showed defeat. He was willing to lose on this duel currently, after Noel's ambush. Though, if he was to get lucky, one card could have saved his life. To show her respect and to prove herself not completely evil, Noel asked her opponent a question before attacking.

". . . What a waste. With me as your partner you could get a lot more than a living body, but also a real friend, after my goal is complete. I will tell you the truth, it is near being progressed fully. So, I will ask you this before I end. Will you join me again please...?"

Noel's face showed mercy. She never wanted to hurt Apollo, but she had to use his soul for her purpose, which no one knows. She sent her hand towards Apollo for a handshake, or just to show a helping hand. But a cold heart might stay frozen until melted from its stubbornness.

Apollo felt pain in his body. The icy personality that he had gotten in these past days was forbidding him from accepting. "No..." He answered to Noel.
He felt like his body was freezing up and was about to break.

Noel simply read through Apollo's mind this time. The silent comment, the slow phrase, turning his head and look away from the girl's side of the field - he wanted to accept but couldn't allow himself. As much as she wanted to prevent this from occurring, it happened.

". . . Very we-hll... I'll cleanse your soul from this world and send you to the netherworld. Medium, Harpie Lady!!...
Attack."

She sadly said, on the verge of crying. A strong split personality. She really cared, but couldn't do anything. As the two monsters commenced attack on Apollo, the duel ended.

Apollo feeling the force of the attack was blown off the cliff for his soul would fall to the bottom of this canyon and be absorbed into the dark abyss.
'This is the end for me...'
'Do you want to save your life?'
'It doesn't matter anymore...'
'I will save you....'
There was a purple light and Apollo faded away.

As Noel felt incredibly bad for her previous friend which she had to vanquish his soul because of a duel, she was about to walk away, but then something happened. As she turned around and took the three steps away, attempting to go down the area, a light was seen behind of her, one that was strong enough to brighten her shadow in such a way that she could notice it without any problem at all. Fearing for her life, she looked back just to see a hand barely clutching to the edge of the cliff, of where Apollo fell from.

". . . No way... But you're a soul... You don't have a solid body! How can you...?"

[Admin]

Apollo remained silent and lifted himself up and stood up. The darkness hid his face and he looked at his LP. It said -1400 on his duel disk.

"What!!?"

Noelecio looked at the soul of Apollo, which still held the Duel Disk. His Life Points were standing on a negative number, which meant he lost the duel, but for a reason it still kept on. Ice Medium returned to his side of the field, although Noel's Duel Disk was shut down already.

"But... Okay... Apollo, what happened? Answer me please."

Noel tried to remain calm. She was glad he didn't die completely, but this was already exaggerating. This was one intense situation.

The darkness went away and Apollo smiled as Noel gasped. Dark marks led to his eyes which were now black with yellow pupils. "Hello Noel." He said. A deep voice of darkness resonated with his voice scaring Noel. "You might be wondering what this is.... this is an effect of Perfect End.... it makes it so the only way to win is to wipe out an opponent to exactly 0 LP and nothing more or less. In negative LP's.... you gain LP when you take damage. Now I will end this...."
He drew a card and smiled.
I summon the monster... Armageddon Knight.
Medium went away and in it's place Armageddon Knight appeared with 2400 atk. Now I will take back Apollo's body and allow him to use it again. Any last words Noelecio Rizzo?

Noel gasped in shock. That was definitely not Apollo talking. Her Harpie Lady contained 1,300 attack points, while his Armageddon Knight had 2,400. Once the knight commenced attack on Noelecio, she got back to herself.

"Who are you!? What have you done to Apollo!!?"

But it was too late. She lost the duel by a 3rd form, with a perfect streak. It might have been her special powers, probably the god's blessing either for Apollo's will, but Noel only lost one thing - her life points. The duel ended. Noel looked into her next card and it was revealed to be Chaos Zone. She could have won if the right card wasn't drew on the spot. The dark aura surrounding Apollo disappeared.

Noelecio, not knowing what to do from the shock of losing, looked with her eyes wide open at Apollo. She starred at him for around 7 full minutes and then left the area, shocked.

"(. . . No. . . Way. . . I-It's starting... This is i-incredibly bad... We're all doomed...)"

She thought as she walked away slowly.

[Admin]

Apollo gasped and looked at his body. It was solid.
"Who won?" He asked Noel as she walked away.
The marks on his face had disappeared and he was back to normal.
"And what do you mean? It's me Apollo!" He exclaimed.
Apollo ran towards her curious of what had happened.
'All i remember is getting attacked one final time with my own monster....' He thought to himself, 'So how did I win if my LP went to 0?'
"Perfect... he doesn't expect a thing..." A voice from far away stated.

As soon as Apollo asked the turning away Noel who won, she looked into his face with tearing eyes. She went closer to Apollo and held his face through his chin. She then approached closer and kissed his cheek. Right after that somehow long kiss, she powerfully slapped him. Her face showed true anger, only covering up the thing she never revealed to anyone in her whole life - fear.

Noel ignored Apollo completely after that small incident. It was just wrong. Apollo shouldn't have had that card in his deck. A duel ends normally when Life Points strike a negative number or 0. Things have gotten out of control and logic inside Noelecio's mind. This was not only the first time she ever lost a duel, but it was also the start of something she was really afraid of. A loss would never strike her so badly, and this was definitely something else. She let out a powerful scream into the crying skies after leaving the area completely, making sure no one would hear her.

Apollo stood there blushing the whole time after Noel had left.
'What the hell just happened...?' He thought to himself.
Apollo sighed and felt the rain pour on him.
He looked through his deck and saw White Night Dragon.
'What happened?' He asked through his mind.
There was no reply.
'White Night.... Dragon?' He asked.
Still no reply.
Apollo sighed again and thought that White Night was just resting. He walked down the stairs to the next level below.
