The New Breed

The New Breed will consist of 3 different kinds of monsters and add on to some of the existing monsters out their. I will give an example of one of the different kinds of cards, the "Seal" cards.

Card Name: Du're, Sealing Fox Monk
Attribute: Light
Type: Spellcaster
Type 2: Effect
Level: 4
Atk: 1000
Def: 2000
Effect: When "Du're, Sealing Fox Monk" is normal summoned, select one monster on your opponent's side of the field. That monster can not attack and can not be the target of spell cards your opponent controls. If this monster is selected as an attack target while in attack mode, it is changed to defense mode.

Card Name: Boulder Sealer
Attribute: Light
Type: Rock
Type 2: Effect
Level: 3
Atk: 800
Def: 1800
Effect: When this monster is summoned, it is changed to defense mode. While this monster is on the field, negate the effects of continuous trap cards.

Card Name: Brew the Rampaging Sealer
Attribute: Light
Type: Rock
Type 2: Spirit
Level: 2
Atk: 1000
Def: 0
Effect: This monster can not be special summoned. When this monster is normal summoned or flip summoned, send the top card of your deck to the graveyard. When this monster returns to your hand, place the top card of your graveyard on your deck. At the end phase of your turn, return this monster to your hand.

Card Name: Doros the Sealer
Attribute: Light
Type: Spellcaster
Type 2: Tuner
Level: 9

Def: 1700
Effect: When this card in your graveyard would be placed on top of your deck, special summon it instead. Once per turn, you may pay lifepoints in multiples of 500 to lower this monsters level by 1 for each 500 lifepoints paid. Once per turn, you can increase your lifepoints by 500.

Card Name: Doros the Exalted Sealer
Attribute: Light
Type: Spellcaster
Type 2: Tuner
Level: 3
Atk: 800
Def: 800
Effect: You can sacrifice this face-down monster to negate the normal summon of an opponent's monster and destroy it. If this effect is activated, skip your next draw phase.

Card Name: Doros the Exiled Sealer
Attribute: Light
Type: Spellcaster
Level: 6
Atk: 2600
Def: 500
It was all for one and one for all. Little did he know, he was all that was left.

Card Name: Onz Sealer - The Wished
Type: Counter
Effect: Activate when your opponent summons a monster. Equip this card to the summoned monster as an equip spell card. The equipped monster can not attack.

Card Name: Duex Sealer - The Regretted
Type: Continuous
Effect: Activate when your opponent activates a spell card. Pay 2000 lifepoints, then negate the effect of that spell card.

Card Name: Treis Sealer - The Promised
Type: Normal
Effect: You gain 1000 lifepoints for every face up card in your Spell/Trap zone. You lose 500 lifepoints for every face down card in your spell/trap zone.

Effect: You may only control 1 "Leader" card at a time. When this monster is normal summoned, place it in the spell/trap card zone. This monster counts as a continuous spell card while in the spell/trap zone. As long as this card is a continuous spell card, once per turn, you can sacrifice this card to activate one of the following abilities:

*Sacrifice a monster in order to destroy one defense position monster on the field.
*Pay 500 lifepoints to negate the effects of a spell or trap card and destroy it.
*Draw one card from your deck.
*Tribute one monster on your side of the field to special summon 2 monsters with the same name from your deck. Those monsters are destroyed during the end phase of this turn.
*Sacrifice one monster on your side of the field to increase the attack of one monster on the field by the original attack of the sacrificed monster.

As you can see by the preview, the monster is a "Leader" type. The "Leader" Type symbolizes a leader who marches with their troops and can use a special ability once. "Leader" in itself will not have support cards, it is JUST a card concept. However, there will be cards that are stronger with a leader on the field.

Rule Text for Leaders: Leader monsters are only placed in the continuous spell/trap zone if they are normal summoned. Special summoning or flip summoning a leader will keep them in the monster zone. Leaders have 0 attack and 0 defense with a level of 1.

In the spell/trap zone, cards that destroy monsters will not work on "Leader" monsters. That means if a monster like dark magician is on your side of the field with a leader in the spell/trap zone, the Dark Magician will be destroyed with a card like "Fissure" EVEN THOUGH he is not the weakest monster on your side of the field.

If a leader monster is in your spell/trap zone and you have no monsters in the monster zone, your opponent may attack directly if no further restrictions are on their monsters.

You may only control 1 leader monster at a time, no exceptions.
