It was almost noon, and Aubrey was still asleep. Her brother, being the 18-year-old brat that he is, decides to wake her up by pulling her blanket off of her. "Hey! Give that back!" she said sleepily. She grabs it out of his hands and tries to go back to sleep. She looked at the clock and realized that her mom could come home any minute for lunch. "Aw man! Now I have to stay up!" she said. "Thanks a lot, you little archfiend!" Her mom walked in the door as soon as she was done fixing her bed. She gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek and made herself some lunch in the microwave, since she didn't know how to use the stove and didn't want to risk setting the house on fire. "I'm gonna go ride around on my Duel Runner for a little while, if that's okay," she told her mom before getting up from the table. "Yeah. I'll just lock him in when I go back to work," her mom said, referring to Aubrey's brother. She picked up her helmet and opened the door. "I'll be back in a little bit," she said before shutting the door behind her. Then she remembered her deck. "Whoops. Forget my deck," she said before running to her room to get it. "Now I'll be back in a little bit." She once again shut the door behind her, put on her helmet, and rode off into New Domino City.

Rain yawned, bored as she sat on the curb by some street. She had been walking around all morning and still didn't lose her boredom. She knew her little sister would start getting worried about her soon, but she's be home eventually, she didn't always have to watch her sister. She fiddled with her necklace for awhile before pushing her long black hair behind her shoulders. Tapping her shoes on the pavement, she side.
"There is never anything to do in this city." She muttered. It didn't usually help when she stuck to the little crowds since she didn't like over crowded business.

Jayk was on his Mcgoohan energy powered Duel Runner however it was malfunctioning.
Great!The FusiEngine was about to blow!

He crashed into Aubreys Duel Runner and catapulted off his onto Rain..

Rain glanced up as she heard a loud crash. Then proceeded to realize the guy on it was now in the air coming straight for her. "Oh crap!" She exclaimed, getting up and taking a few paces back out of the way. As he landed on the ground where she was just sitting, she examined him.
"Are you alright?" She asked.

Rain sighed as she pulled out her phone and called for help. She then looked over at the other duel runner he had crashed into. She wondered if the girl was alright. With another glance at the guy on the ground, she knew there was nothing she could do until help arrived. She walked over to the wreck and looked around for the girl, to see if she was okay. She was still on the phone, telling where to send help.
