Apollo stepped into New Domino City and was astonished at how big and how high tech it was.
It was a lot different than where he used to live.
He had a reason for coming here though. Apollo planned on meeting the king of dueling, Jack Atlas. Jack was said to be testing out a new deck so even if Apollo won, that probably didn't mean that he would lose his title of king.
Apollo walked down a street looking around for Jack.

Stepping outside, Jack wondered. Who Would even take him on? As he walked through the roads and sidewalks of the city he knew so well, he saw a man in a green shirt with a deck in hand. He walked toward him, and laid his hand on his shoulder. "You, duel?"

Apollo stood there and felt amazed that he was standing in front of the king.
"Y-yes, I'd love to duel." He replied.
Apollo wasn't that good at talking to famous people so he might seem a little weird to Jack.
He took out his duel disk and his deck of cards. It was his Naturia deck, one of his favorites.
"Where should we duel?" Apollo asked.

"Here, Now." As He activated his already ready duel disk, he placed in hi \s new deck. "Now Boy, Lets See Whatcha got." As he absentmindly shuffled his deck, he waited for his opponent to start.

"Alright, I'll start off first Mr. King." Apollo said and drew his 6 cards.
He looked at them and smiled.
"I'll start off first with a facedown monster."
A monster appeared in front of him hidden by it's card.
"Now, I'll end with two facedowns."
He threw two facedowns onto the field and signaled towards Jack for him to start.

Jack Drew His Hand, And Placed it in his hand.
"I Draw"
Drawing his sixth card, and smiled.
"I Place Infernal Queen Archfiend In Attack Position, And Activate Her effect. She gains 1000 Attack until the next end phase."

"I draw."
Apollo drew a card making his hand have 4 cards.
"Now, to start off, I'll activate the normal spell Reasoning. You pick a monster level from 1-12. I draw cards until I can special summon a monster I drew onto the field and discard the other cards. If I draw a card with the same level as the level you said, I don't special summon anything. Same goes for if I don't find a monster from the amount I draw. So what number do you choose?"

Apollo drew cards until he had reached the fourth. The first three were none he could summon so he sent them to the grave but... the fourth was Naturia Fruitfly.
Apollo brought the level 3 monster to his field with 1200 atk and smiled.
"Now I flip over my other monster Naturia Mantis!"
The hidden monster was flipped up to reveal a Mantis like bug monster. It had 1700 atk.
Apollo smiled as Jack's monster lost 600 atk and def.
"Thanks to the effect of Fruitfly, all of your monsters lose 300 atk and def for each Naturia on my field... Mantis, destroy his monster and then Fruitfly continue the assault on Jack's Life Points!"

Jack took the blow, And Smiled.
"Due to Pandemonium, I Draw a MOnster from Deck lower level than Infernalqueen Archfiend."
As Jack Placed a Card in his hand, he turned to his opponent. "Do you end yet?"

Jack Chuckled, And he Drew. His hand was now 5.
"I Activate Foolish Burial, and Send Stygian Street Patrol to my Graveyard.Now, i remove it from play, to special summon, Terrorking Archfiend!"

As a swarm of locsts emerged from Terrorking Archfiend's Chest, And Enveloped the card, negating it and destroying it. "Bad Idea, Mate"

Apollo grunted as he lost 700 LP.

"I draw!"
Apollo looked at the card he drew and looked back at Jack.
"I'll summon to the field a monster by the name of Naturia Rosewhip in defense mode!"
A monster appeared on the field and bloomed into a happy smiling rose with 1700 def.
"Too bad for you that as long as she's on the field, you'll be only using one spell or trap once per turn. Then, I'll end with a continuous spell. Verdant Sanctuary."
Apollo watched as a forest crawling with insects appeared before his monsters.
"As long as it's in play, everytime an Insect monster I have is destroyed, I can search my deck for an insect with the same level and add it to my hand. Now, your turn."
