Rain sat silently on her bed. She had been here at W.C.D. (Ward for Concerning Duelists). To Rain, it was just another name for crazy people. Duelists that stayed here took their dueling to a different level, a more violent personal level. Some hear voices from all their cards in their head. All have something wrong with them. Rain didn't know what was wrong with her. Her memory was gone, she admitted herself into this place in hopes for someone to tell her she wasn't crazy. They stamped her with some disorder however and kept her here saying she was a harm to herself. She was monitored constantly and she often wished she hadn't had come.
She looked up at the clock in her room. It's about lunch time, dueling time is what most patients here say. Ones who weren't allowed to keep their decks made new ones, created cards. She was allowed to keep her deck, they didn't know that her dragon was a guardian that could come out. She wouldn't try to though, she tried her best to be well behaved.
She had made her own deck as well. She let the psych ward make her believe she was crazy and during that mood, she had made the Innervoice deck. (She has no relation to Snow in this RP) She dueled with it at times, sometimes winning, sometimes losing. She kept to herself most of the time.
A bell rang, alerting Rain that it was now lunch time. She stood up patting down her gray shirt and matching pants, staring dejectedly at her plain white shoes. It felt like a prison here, what was she thinking? She walked to the lunch room, getting some of the things they call food. It never appealed to her but she knew what would happen if she didn't eat...
She sat at a table and watched as some patients skipped lunch today to duel. She longed to duel as well but she didn't want to duel with these freaks. Who am I kidding, I'm one of them... She thought. She started wondering of her past. Did she have family, friends, any friends closer than that? She wondered these things constantly, unknowing to what truth really was. She had never had any visitors. She didn't believe anyone actually knew her, or remembered her if they had...

Now, if this is supposed to be a place for "special" duelists, then there's one question that's most likely in most people's head he's met in this place. What is Confused doing here? Everytime he's caused damage, no one has been harmed. His monsters have never talked once, so why has he been placed in here?
In his room, before the lunch bell ring, he was thinking that exact same thing... even though he knew who to blame, his neighbors. He was forced in here, he didn't want to come here. He was forced because his neighbors was scared that he had a problem when he duels... which was true and untrue, but another reason would just be because they don't want a duelist around, his neighbors were over 100 years old.
The "authorities" say they he has a problem, but they probably don't know for sure. If it wasn't for the fact that he's barely getting damage, they would get better results. Atleast he could keep his deck. Hopefully by tomorrow, or atleast a week later, they'll let him go for lack of results. Till then, he has to restrain from letting his guardian speak, or even using him in duels, or else he can never leave this place.
When he heard the lunch bell ring, and went to the lunch zone, he didn't really grab that so called "lunch" he saw, since it doesn't look like lunch at all. What surprises him is that he was actually allowed to keep his clothes instead of those bland black and white clothes like he was supposed to have... weird but atleast they were nice enough after forcing me to stay. He looked around and saw that every table has people in it... so much for trying to be alone. He walked up to the only table with just one person, the table where the girl Rain was sitting to wait till his next duel... yet again will be happening.

Rain glanced at the guy who sat now at her table. her fork picked around on her tray, not really sure if any of this was even editable. She wondered who the person was, was he a patient here? He didn't have any of the clothes that were used here. He didn't seem like anything was wrong with them, then again she had mistaken that from other people as well, believing they seemed normal when really, they weren't. She glanced over again, wondering if she should ask who he is, but was a little worried he'd turn out to be freakish or something. Aw, don't be a chicken... She told herself mentally.
"Hello." She said quietly but loud enough to where he should hear her.

He sighed, he didn't know whether he should talk or just ignore her. He usually just tries to stay quiet, but with every table taken, it doesn't look like it'll happen. When he heard her say hi, he instinctly responded, "Hello," in more of a sad tone. Inside, he's hoping that there won't be any conversation, even though he knows she is gonna start one up anyway somehow.

She looked at him oddly. He seemed sad, though it wasn't that uncommon. This place was rather depressing. She wondered if she should just leave him alone, if he was sad, why should she try talking, she'd probably just make everything worse. Instead, she turned her gaze down to her food and nibbled on something that tasted like fruit. She heard a few frustrated shouts from duelers who must've been losing or something.

About more or less, an hour later, he left and started heading back to his room. He looked to the left right at his door to notice an official signalling to follow him. To avoid being forced to this duel for the twenty-seventh time again, he resentfully followed him. He took him to a dueling platform. However, there was no duelist up there yet. He was confused, as usual, but this time to why there was no duelist, when he usually knows everything that seemed to happen about dueling. He looked up at a windowed room to see two of them arguing. Perhaps they haven't decided a duelist for him yet, they must be running out of them.

Rain sighed dis-contently as she hardly finished eating and started heading down a different hallway then usual. She felt like she wanted to go outside, get air, clear her already blank mind. She hardly remembered anything, it took awhile to remember her own name. And after she came here, she re learned to duel and use her cards. She was able to call out a card from her Cursed deck, and they explained to her what they were and how to use them. They had no memory for her though.
She stepped out onto a deck that was on a top floor. There was a cage that prevented anyone from jumping out, it was smart, but depressing. She held the fence in her hand and stared out at the city around her.

He waited for ten minutes, then one of the people in the window room accidently turned on the speaker. The official stated, "Sir, we have found her, she's up at the roof." Right after that was said, the platform started raising. Startled, he said "Hey, what's going on!?!?!" He saw that the floor windows started moving down, so he figured out he must of been moving. He looked up and saw the roof open up. As soon as the platform arrived there he saw the girl he sat with during lunch. The roof's speaker said, "Begin."

Rain turned around, feeling a surge of surprise to see the guy that she saw earlier. A speaker had said 'begin'...she felt puzzled.
"What do they mean? Begin what?" She called to Confused.

He looked at her and then raised his arm to activate his duel disk. He drew five cards, then waited for her to make the first move. "Good luck." She'll need it, he has never lost a match in this place yet, and only one time did he lose life points, only 100, and it was a minor injury from that duelist's monster. The scratch had already went away though, but he felt no pain anyway. Minor damage usually does not cause much harm to him.

A duel...why here? She gazed around noticing that the roof was a good choice for a field, it was big enough. She realized she didn't have a duel disk and frowned. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a card and whispered something silently, the card glowed and she had a duel disk on. She knew making a card that summons a duel disk was a good idea. She pulled out her deck, wondering why she had that but not her duel disk.
She drew five cards and then a sixth for her turn, assuming it was hers. She felt no need to say good luck to him, "I draw. I summon Innervoice PK and end my turn." She said quietly. A little awkward looking cat appeared on the field, giving a creepy wink.

He looked at his deck and saw that he grabbed the wrong deck when he left his room... "Yikes..." He shuffled them and placed it in his duel disk... which reshuffled them. "Well, now I might need luck." He drew five cards, then a sixth. "I activate Ancient Rules!" Two scrolls appeared on the field, each with the picture of two monsters. "Here's what it does, I can special summon one normal monster from my hand that's level 5 or higher, and since I used two, the monsters on those scrolls shall appear!" The monsters seemed to emerge from their scrolls, one being Cosmo Queen, the other Blue-Eyes White Dragon. "Alright luck, be with me now, I activate Roll of Fate!" A card appeared and then a dice was rolled, and it landed on a 5. "Alright! Now I get to draw 5 cards, as long as the top 5 cards of my deck are then sent to the graveyard afterwards." He looked at his cards, then activated another, and a purple pot with it's tongue sticking out was revealed. The five monsters in his graveyard returned to the deck, shuffled, then he got to draw 2 cards, giving his hand a total of 7. "I activate the effect of Hardened Armed Dragon, by sending one level 8 or higher monster from my hand, I get to special summon him, so by sending Gilford the Lightning to the graveyard, I can special summon him. Next, I activate the field spell Geartown!" The entire place changed to the background of the inside of a factory, filled with turning gears. "Now, I sacrifice Hardened Armed Dragon to summon Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon! Since Geartown is on the field, Ancient Gear monsters need one less sacrifice to summon. Now due to the effect of Hardened Armed Dragon, the monster summoned using him as a sacrifice if it's level 7 or higher, it cannot be destroyed by effects. Now, to construct the overlay network, I overlay Cosmo Queen and Blue-Eyes White Dragon to summon Thunder-End Dragon!" A weird blue machine dragon with a neck that looks like lightning and liquid appears, and he takes the power of blue-eyes white dragon to charge him up and destroy all monsters on the field except himself, and Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon because of Hardened Armed Dragon. A spell card that looks like a blue tombstone appears and revives Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Thunder-End Dragon: 3000 Attack Blue-Eyes White Dragon: 3000 Attack Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon: 3000 Attack "Blue-eyes White Dragon, attack her directly with White Lightning! Thunder-End Dragon and Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon attack her directly to finish this duel." Through all those attacks, not one caused any harm. Rain's Life Points: 0

Rain shrugged as if losing meant nothing to her, and really, it didn't. Just something to pass the time. She would say sorry to Innervoice PK later. The duel ended.
"Good game." She said, turning around once more to stare wistfully at the city.

Rain turned and pushed her way passed Confused to go back to her room. She knew he belonged in here, only people here duel like bullies. She rolled her eyes and walked down the long stares to her floor. On the way down, she noticed a door. Looking around, she slipped through the door, now looking around. What was this place. It was dark and her hand felt for a light switch but a light from the screens in front of her distracted her from finding anything. She noticed that this must be the security room...but then where are the people who watch?
She looking around and noticed a small window on an opposite wall. She moved towards it, glancing out. She'd be able to escape through here! Even though as she looked down...it was still a very long drop, though not as large as the roof...
She smiled and left the interesting room. She couldn't leave right now, she still needed to get her other deck and her duel disk yet.
