History: Yuuta was never all that into dueling, but was fascinated by the technology behind the Duel Disk system and the Duel Runners used for playing Duel Monsters.
When Yuuta was old enough he went into Duel Academy but not to learn how to duel, but instead to take a special course for those interested in learning the secrets of the Duel Disk and Duel Runner systems. Because of his lack of interest in dueling, Yuuta was put in Slifer Red.
When Yuuta graduated he got an offer from Kaiba Corp to become part of their professional team of engineers and Yuuta accepted. Yuuta spent most of his time working on prototypes and upgrades, a job that sometimes required Yuuta to test out cards in them; nearly every card has passed through Yuuta's hands.
Today, Yuuta still works for Kaiba Corp but he also offers private services to teams that wish their Duel Systems upgraded or fixed. Yuuta's latest customer is Team Ultimate Megas. It has been rumored that Yuuta has been working on two new duel systems
