Crow was riding around on his duel runner for, what, the hundredth time this week? Sure, he did it way too often, but it gets addicting. With the wind blasting against you, it felt like you were flying!
When Crow was just starting to relax, there was a huge clang noise coming from his Runner. "What the heck is your problem?" He yelled, punching the duel disk that served as a CPU for it. For a moment, the clanging stopped and Crow thought he'd fixed it. Then a huge blast of smoke came from it and it steered off course.
"CRAP, CRAP, CRAP, CRAP!!!" Crow was shouting, trying to get people out of the way, now that he'd veered onto the sidewalk. "Excuse me! Pardon me! MOVE YOU STUPID MUTT!" Animals and people alike ran from the Runner's path, not willing to be crushed by it.
Then there was a girl who really wouldn't have the time to move out of the way. "Oh great..." Crow said, squeezing his eyes shut and turning to the best of his control. Somehow, he'd missed the girl...and hit the wall. Crow fell off of his runner and his helmet and duel disk fell to the ground.
Getting up slowly, Crow stretched out his back. "OK, that hurt." He said, looking at the girl. "Hey, I'm really sorry. My runner just wigged out on me! It never does stuff like this to me!" He said, kicking it and watching another huge puff of smoke shoot out of it.
