Actually it's 1, remember because of D. D. Warrior's effect, after damage calculation, him and the monster battling with it is removed from play, since D.D. Warrior battled with your face-down monster at the beginning of this duel, both your face-down monster and him were removed from play, leaving only 1 monster in your gravyeard.

Okay, well I draw another card then.
Sigh, I'll summon Cursed Mage in def mode...and...actually I'll take her and Cursed Prince to synchro summon Cursed Goddess! (2500, 1400)
And thanks to her effect, and since I now have two monsters in my graveyard, I can attack you directly! Counter to that?

I draw! I normal summon the blazewing butterfly not equipped with the equip spell. Now it's an effect monster, and I'll activate that now, by tributing him I can special summon 1 gemini monster from my graveyard except a blazewing butterfly, and that monster summoned is treated as an effect monster, so let's bring out Phoenix Gearfried in attack mode! 2800 Attack

Now Amulet of Ambition's effect activates, when the equipped monster attacks a monster who's level is higher than his, he gains 500 attack points per point of level, since your synchro monster is 3 levels higher than blazewing butterfly, he gains 1500 attack points for this battle only. 3000 vs 2500
