"Ah! What a lovely day!" she mused in American, not in the mood for locals to listen on her conversation, before taking a sip of tea from a nice cafe. Her eyes shut to let the sun cascade down on her, before re-opening her gaze and taking a bite out of a burger. She still wasn't really used to her surroundings, and living here by herself made her miss her parents, her home, and of course her baby; Gunner. The cremello Akhal Teke that had been her best friend for years, and was always at her side through thick and thin, being an excellent rodeo horse that has seen her through and through. She sighed, patting the picture she always kept in her pocket of her best friend, before eating more of her burger and not taking notice of someone approaching her from behind.

Rain couldn't help but here a voice speaking in American, something that she hadn't heard in awhile unless coming from her own mouth. She twirled a piece of her long ebony hair while pondering if she should go talk to this stranger. For all she knew, this girl could injure her for just speaking...she had that sort of appearance...Rain shook her head guilty of making such a judgment. She took a step to the side, preventing the sun to touch her soft pale skin. She wasn't much fan of heat. Taking a breath, her curiosity got the better of her...she walked towards the girl and stopped two feet away.
"Hello..." She said in American, hoping that it would immediately catch the girl's attention.

She instantly recognized the familiar language, and looked around to find a girl standing their a little shyly, before she gave a brilliant smile,"Well hello! Who knew there'd be more Americans around here. Come, take a seat! Join me in lunch. I'm Kiara Starheart by the way, what's your name?" Her eyes glimmered with warmth and friendliness, before pushing out a seat and letting the sun warm her up even more. She certainly enjoyed company, and she felt a little more comfortable knowing that she wasn't the only of her race around her. She also felt better that she could speak English now, and not Japaenese, even though she was fluent in both, it was much easier for her tongue to handle English.

Smiling at Kiara's friendliness, she sat down in the chair. "I'm Rain. Rain Skylyn. And I was just as surprised to hear you talking to yourself in American." Rain stopped realizing that made her sound like she was ease dropping. "So what brought you out here?" Rain asked, continue the conversation without awkwardness. She liked talking to someone again.

"Ooh pretty!" she replied, taking another sip before beckoning the waitress, before taking a glance at Rain, who seemed embarrassed about what she just said she heard her speaking American. She smiled, and simply stated,"Don't feel bad, your mind takes note of something you haven't heard in awhile and is attracted to it." She giggled, before looking to the waitress who finally appeared, and gave a pleasant, going straight to Japanese,"こんにちは、彼女は現在、注文したいと思います." Which translated into,"Hello, she would like to order now." Her eyes met Rain's, and she smiled happily before returning to English,"Go ahead."
OOC: Sorry I just wanted to show off the Japanese XD it looks cool.

Rain smiled and shook her and looked at the waitress. "私は何を必要としない。しかし、ありがとうございます" (translation: I do not anything. But thank you.) She looked back to Kiara. "Sorry, but I'm fine. i don't need anything." She said again in American.

"If you say so," was her only response, before taking a sip of tea and nodding to the waitress who vanished once more. Her gaze soon returned to Rain, and she answered the question at hand,"I'm here to train at the Duel Academy, so I can learn to be a better duelist." She smiled at the thought of dueling on the field, being cheered on by the crowd as she won many duels, becoming the best of the best duelists! She quickly snapped out of these thoughts though, before looking back at Rain and smiling, wondering why she was here in Japan.

Rain smiled when Kiara said she trained at the Duel Academy. She sometimes wandered around there just to look at things and she was always fascinated. She never plans on joining the academy but it still amuses her from time to time. After that thought, Rain figured that Kiara is probably wondering why she was in Japan. She started thinking of an answer before the question was asked. It was a complicated reason that Rain wasn't entirely sure on how to explain it.
