Appearance: Even for his age, Koji is short, only reaching 3 feet and 9 inches. Due to him only weighing about 55 pounds, he has a rather thin appearance. His brown hair is very well kept, and doesn't even go past his ears. His eyes are hazel. His skin is rather pale, due to lack of exposure to the sun.
His style of clothes is rather basic. He wears a red t-shirt with a green stripe around the collar and the end of the sleeves. He also wears green shorts which reach down to his knees. For shoes, he always wears green shoes, which contrast with the blue socks he wears. Whenever he goes far from home, he usually wears a dark blue backpack (usually with snacks and his deck).
Personality: Koji mostly acts the way he appears: like a small child. He acts nice towards others that he likes, and is usually very polite. It's not too difficult to scare him, although his reflexes usually end up having hit the person who scared him. He strongly enjoys candy, although he will not be happy if he is given sour or hot candy. He usually lacks an appetite, although he always seems to be hungry for dessert.
There are some aspects of him that he actually hides. For one, he is clever, usually using his cute attitude to make others do things for him. He may act like he isn't a very good duelist, but in reality, he's played the game enough times to know what he is doing. One thing that makes him angry is when people make fun of his height. He refuses to be with people who do that, usually trying to avoid them, even if they're trying to apologize.
History: Koji was born on May 30th, 2002 into a somewhat wealthy family living in New Domino. He was an only child, so his parents unintentionally spoiled him. Money was never a problem, as his father ran a power plant which supplied a good amount of electricity to the city. School for him wasn't too difficult, and few people dared to mock him for being the short kid, as some of them actually had parents who worked at his father's power plant.
Duel Monsters was a game he picked up at school, as he liked to watch the other kids play it. It wasn't too long before he began playing it himself, forming a Spell Counter deck, as he thought the monsters were cool (and useful). He found out that the card game was actually more serious than an actual game, something that he find kind of weird, although he still continued to play it. He mostly just played it for fun.
